You set your no-show fee amount in your settings — for example $50. When a client books, their card is saved on file. If they do not show up and you mark them as a no-show, the fee is automatically charged to their card. You do not have to chase anyone or have an awkward conversation. It is handled.
When a client files a chargeback Blushbook automatically assembles your evidence — the signed waiver, booking confirmation, deposit receipt, message thread, IP address and appointment records — into a complete evidence package. Yes. Blushbook automatically sends booking confirmations, appointment reminders and rebooking follow-ups to your clients via text. You configure the timing once and they go out automatically forever. You never have to manually remind a client again.
When a client cancels a slot, Blushbook automatically texts the next person on your waitlist with a link to claim that time. They have a set window to confirm — you choose how long. If they do not confirm in time it moves to the next person. Your calendar fills itself. You do not touch anything.
All payments are processed by Stripe — the same payment technology used by Amazon, Shopify, Lyft and millions of businesses worldwide. When a client pays a deposit or no-show fee, that money goes directly to your connected bank account. Blushbook never holds your money.
Yes. All client data is encrypted and stored securely. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — Blushbook never stores card numbers. We take data privacy seriously and will never sell your data or your clients’ data to anyone. Ever.
Payouts are processed through Stripe directly to your connected bank account. Standard payout timing is 2 business days after a transaction. You can view your available balance, pending payouts and transaction history directly in the Blushbook app.
Yes. Blushbook is designed to be your complete booking system — you will not need anything else alongside it. Setup takes about 10 minutes. You add your services, set your availability, connect your bank account and your booking page is live. We will provide a migration guide when we launch to make the switch as smooth as possible.
